is_dir( $path ) return true, if specified path is directory.

file_exists( $path ) return true, if specified path is file or directory.

Create Folder PHP Function :-

mkdir( $path ) create folder.

Create a folder if it doesn’t already exist:-

Check a string contains a specific word in PHP string by using strpos, strstrperg_match , substr_count and array function explode.

PHP Find String Exist in a String by strpos :-

strpos($str, $subStr) function find the position of the sub-string.

It will return 0, if sub-string not exist.

Example : –

$str = 'hello world';
$subStr = 'test';
$position = strpos($str, $subStr); //return 0, if sub-string not exist 

if( $position != 0 ){ //We can use empty($position)

Find Word Exist in a String by strstr :-

strstr($str, $subStr) function return first occurrence of the string.

It will return false, if sub-string not exist.

Example : –

$subStr = 'test';
$position = strstr($str, $subStr); //return false, if sub-string not exist

Find Word Exist in a String by perg_match :-

The preg_match() function searches a string for pattern.

It will return false, if pattern not exists.

Example : –

$result = preg_match( '/'.$subStr.'/',$str); //return 0, if word not exist

The substr_count() function count the number of times sub-sting  occurs in the string:
