For a while now I have thought that the only way to be successful online is to really work hard at optimising your site. I’ve done a lot of hard work over the last year or so, and we as a business have employed a lot of people to aid us in this as well. I have worked with SEO specialists from all over the place in a bid to increase our natural search listings for all of our key phrases, and it has worked wonders.
I still feel that there is a corner of the market that we are just not touching though. We have never run a PPC campaign before, and I was sure that there were plenty of people out there who used the sponsored links to find the pages they were looking for. After all, not everyone is an expert on matters relating to the internet, and anyone not really in the know might well assume that the sponsored listings are actually the first results that come up!
My only problem was that because I had no experience of running a PPC campaign I didn’t really know how to go about it in the correct manner. I had a bit of a look around online and I discovered a great company who offered ppc management as one of their services. They seemed to be a great set up and they even offered a thirty day money back guarantee, so they obviously had faith in their own talents. It also made me think that the benefits of PPC must be there, or they wouldn’t be offering a money back scheme to people who weren’t totally satisfied with their results.
Six months down the line and our PPC campaign is paying dividends. I only wish that I had started it sooner.
