Video Optimization

Editing is part and parcel of the things you got to do when making a web video. While editing can take a short time, it usually takes a long time. It is the best thing you can use to disseminate information clearly. However, it will take beginners a long time before they can totally adjust to it and the program that will match you. Ranging from basic to advance, there are different types of video editing software you can try.

So if you have a Mac, then there is iMovie. It’s actually, now that I’m used to it, quite good. Everything has its drawbacks but it’s actually a good piece of editing software. I think Windows PCs come with Windows Movie Maker which is quite a simple version as well. Probably for what most people are going to be doing, these are enough. As long as you can record something, get it in there, make it into something worthwhile and then get it out onto the internet just like what we do for this SEO company.

You can later try the intermediate and advanced. I personally go for Final Cut Studio video editing software. I learn all these things on my own and I just keep on finding out more and more. I describe it as a long piece of string; you never reach the end of it. But for most, iMovie and Windows Movie Maker would be more than enough.

What we did our SEO services site is to record content first. Say, you have something that runs for three or two or one minute. Speak in front of your camera. If you are too shy to do just that, use screen capture software as you provide a demonstration for your latest product that you are making or a video tutorial of something.

With video optimization there are a lot of tips and tricks that you can do along with the different tools that are available – some for free and some for a fee. Then you’ve got to import it which means getting it off the camera into the actual editing software which is very straightforward these days. You take your camera, you plug it into your computer and mostly the editing program will pick it up and open up and say do you want to import this? You just click on what you want to import and bring it in.

From here, you may opt to divide the content that you have. This can be accomplished through a video editing software. For example you interview ran for an hour. You can divide it to six shorter ones that will run for ten minutes each – the maximum running time for a YouTube video. Once you get the content in, lets us say about your SEO products, look for the parts where you can break them. It could be in between questions or lull in conversations. Through this, you can make separated videos. The way to do that is through the editing program. Think of the best spot where you can cut it up and then you take one piece and put it into a new project and then just make a sequence of those.
