WordPress continually gains in popularity. Already popular in the blogging world, CMS themes and features mean that even static business sites are making the switch to WordPress. When people make this switch though – who guides them? if you have never used WordPress before are you able to jump right in?

I have talked about the advantages of WordPress – by now everyone should know that Google loves it and updating a page is as simple as using your web browser. How many people really know how to use it to it’s full potential? You may not need to know advanced coding, but surely some basic knowledge can ease your transition.

I remember a colleague and I discussed the switch to WordPress ages ago. We had heard it was the next big thing in web design and we needed an updated look anyways. We dived in and were met with a problem.

WordPress was unlike anything we had used before. For all the people talking about how simple it was – with no background knowledge into WordPress it is a bit overwhelming at first. We were arguing about the difference between pages and posts for 20 minutes! Don’t get me started on the “WordPress Loop”!

The WordPress support forums are great and they helped – but a lot of the info there was over our heads at first. We almost gave up hope and thought of going back to HTML…when we got lucky. A new friend we met had been using WordPress for ages, “before it was cool” as he put it. He invited us to his office and walked us through it.

Well that was all it took. We have been hooked ever since! Just having that person to break down the back office of WordPress was so helpful. It literally saved us dozens of man hours. It also saved us countless mistakes and redos.

Even after that initial meeting we had him on our instant messenger and it was so helpful to have somewhere to ask our questions. No long fruitless Google searches for every problem. A question was asked and it was quickly answered!

Anyone who is completely new to WordPress should definitely try to find someone to help guide them. Hopefully you have a friend that can do this, but even if you have to pay, it will be worth it in time saved and mistakes made.

By: T.

When it is really important to be viewed at their top ten result pages of search engine , importance of keyword phrase is vital for every SEO company. There is no limit to the number of keyword phrase, hence, it is not possible to take account of every possible keyword. But, SEO companies can take account of the popularity of keywords that can be considered as truly prospective. One the other side, a keyword which is not so popular but drives selective and right group of customers to a site should not to be taken lightly as well. So, use of keywords during search engine optimization depends upon different factors, different classes and quality. Before, you get baffled with when to give a keyword importance and when not, start taking following considerations.

Begin with fragmenting your prospective market in three divisions -

Geographical location of prospects – When your site offers area or region specific services, for example, real estate services, then your SEO company should suggest area specific keywords. Narrow down which type of people or people from which geographical location can make use of your services. Bringing traffic is not all, prospects must be interested in your site. Therefore, your SEO team should use name of locations your service is limited to in order to get potential leads. Level of service expected by prospects – Your SEO company must know level and quality of products or services expected by your consumers from you. For this, discuss what type of customers you are looking for through SEO solutions. For instance, if you are delivering high priced and high quality email marketing services that are intended to cater to premium business class people only, let your SEO people use more specific keywords. Use ‘valuable email marketing’ instead of plain use of ‘email marketing’ to avoid unnecessary traffic of people seeking inexpensive service. Position in purchase cycle – Tell your SEO company whether you want to be just the source of information of a product or a place to buy, or if you want to be a location for both type of service – in brief, discuss with SEO specialists about your position in a purchase process. Through right selection of keyword, your nature of service can be clarified. If you give information on real estate of Georgia, use ‘Georgia real estate info’, ‘ Georgia real estate news’ etc., but, if you want property buyers to view your site, keywords like ‘Georgia real estate agent’, ‘cheap Georgia real estate’ will bring you the right traffic you want.

Discuss these three points with your SEO company [http://www.rupizmedia.com/seo-services] to make them understand your nature of business and business objectives to help you get more leads than mere and insignificant traffic.

By: Naman Jain

About the Author:
