If you’re one of these people, you need to understand that it’s not enough to put together great content. You also need to know how to properly optimize your articles to make them searchable in the online arena. Here’s how you can do that:
1. Make use of keyword suggestion tools. There is no better way to identify the most searched terms and phrases in your niche than using reliable keyword suggestion tools. These tools will not only help you figure out the best keywords to use when optimizing your articles but they can also give you an idea as to what specific information your target audience are looking for when they go online. Use these words as guides to make your articles more focused.
2. Meta descriptions. A lot of writers get overwhelmed when they head about Meta descriptions. Well, there is no need to feel that way. This is just a short summary of your articles that is being used to help search spiders in analyzing the gist of your content. For best results, ensure that you use the keywords that you’re targeting and their synonyms on these descriptions.
3. Keyword density. A lot of articles have been rejected by major search engines because they contain too many keywords. To avoid this problem, make sure that the number of your keywords is just 1-2% of your article word count. Sprinkle these keywords all throughout your content.
